We Sell Technology?
The funny thing about rain for a Californian, when you get over the frustration of having to close the sunroof on the car, and having to find a parking place close to where you are going so your don’t get absolutely soaked – you see things differently. This week in taking my alternate course under cover of a broad awning I walked along the sidewalk in front of a local Office Depot. As I glanced to my left, this is California and we do look to our left first , and then to our right, I saw window decorations in a whole new way.
With a big smile I was stopped in my tracks and then whipped out my iPhone to capture the moment. Under the banner of “We Sell Technology” I saw a series of illustrations that show my technology, or rather the technology that I still have sitting in boxes in my garage waiting for the next garage sale. This includes a Sony digital camera – 1 whole megabyte that wrote to a floppy disk. I have always been cutting edge, even if the edges are more round, just like my physique now days.
Here are some of the images. I hope they bring you the same smile that I had on my face. No, I didn’t buy any technology from Office Depot that day – just the ream of laser paper to feed my hungry laser.
